greatly appreciated: wiki please tom, these files are a critical
resource, and the information in this response likewise.
do you see what i mean about "pasting the earlier mail"?
how many times must it be pasted again and again?
if you had put the information onto the wiki then you could have
posted the link, yes? it would be a 2-line response not a massive
duplication of information to what is now over 200 people, and that
will happen again and again.

i have created the page

literally a cut/paste of the message below. you can now refer people
to that page in future *instead* of repeating the text again and again
and again.
