Cell phones are made in the many millions and are moving to .4mm and 
even .3mm pitch now.

It's not mainstream yet but I've actually printed 3um trace and space 
using inkjet and conductive ink.

As the packaging gets smaller the pcb tech moves along with it.

If EOMA68 cards have the volumes the boards will stay low cost.
