 that's correct.

 i _have_ been pointing out repeatedly that the source code is the
more authoritative reference material than the documentation.  the
documentation appears therefore to be written as an "aide memoire".

 the standard of the allwinner documentation is, however, higher than
that which i have seen from some SoC vendors.
