Hello Luke and *,

One important thing:

I have bought some cellphones from china and now they become useless
because the USB connector

It looks like a Mini-USB AB but has 16 pins and another cellphone has 24

This connector is used for USB, Headset, TV-Out and charging

Now the (very cheap made) cable is broken and can not get the connector.

So, in a OpenSource Hardware do NOT use andyspecialconnectors, where you
can not get replacements easyly. Using one connector per type is OK

However, there are Auto-Muxers from Maxim and TI for the "Mini-USB 5 AB"
which support USB Host, USB Device, Charging and Audio (headset).

This will reduce the required connectors to 2 (HDMI + USB-Universal)

Please note, that these Auto-Muxers are a standard!

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
