 no, but it would be nice to be able to have a 5mm height card that
requires very little plastics-work, just a fascia plate that fits
*inside* the off-the-shelf PCMCIA metal shielding casework.

 then you stand a chance of fitting EOMA68 CPU cards into smartphones.
 admittedly, rather bulky ones by today's standards, but still
smartphones nonetheless.
