datasheets as i find them are also in the same directory. with kind help from randy li i've been able to get the board done pretty quickly: i'm almost ready to submit it for first prototyping. i *may* go and visit rockchip before doing that, though.

I did some digging. The GPU that usually comes with the RK3288 is the Mali T760 MP4, which means (currently) no FOSS drivers exist. But it does have a lot more power than the Mali 400, including Vulkan support, which will make for a very capable system when FOSS drivers happen.

the power provision is 3A @ 1.2v which is completely mad: the main processor core needs that much, too. actual processor speed is definitely going to have to be capped to stay under the (uncomfortable) max 5W power budget.
