 it's ok, mike - i run my own git repository servers, the main thing
is, an automated conversion / updating system would be needed... that
in turn means a lot _more_ work... unless the standard was moved over
to ikiwiki (which means conversion to markdown)... whatever is done it
means quite a bit of work and in the process the "independent" use of
an impartial and independent *relevant* site - elinux.org - would be
lost in the process.

 the only two things which would warrant i think some work would be
(a) a backup mechanism and (b) hosting - finally - on eoma68.com
