because i'm swapping out MicroSD cards constantly, to use different
OSes.  i don't want to destroy the NAND on this *LAST* remaining
working prototype by overwriting OSes all the time.

plus, i still have to get it all up and running, it's a little bit
complex.  i may have to ship out a 4 or 8gbyte micro-sd card to
people... just have to see how it goes
