ok so the flying squirrel rev2 pcb arrived - i'm extremely
disappointed that *yet again* a chinese design house has ignored our
explicit instructions (in this case to move all components from the
bottom of the PCB), but it is a mistake that fortunately will not
massively impact the demos which will get us to production.
i managed this morning to communicate with the stm32f103vct6. i've a
modified version of the miniblink libopencm3 examples program and have
confirmed that a GPIO pin can be toggled on and off. that's enough to
get started.
the first thing i'll try is enabling the LCD backlight, see what
happens. as there are actually speakers and a mic connected to this
device i will later try to see if the PWM circuitry which was
cut/paste off the internet from 3 separate sources actually works.
ahh, it's all good :)
