scott. joe is not responsible for the EOMA68 specification: i am.

this tells you everything that you need to know:
 http://elinux.org/index.php?title=Embedded_Open_Modular_Architecture%2FEOMA-68&diff=299384&oldid=291854

check the date, and check the diff. you'll find that the date
matches the timestamps of the list archives, and you'll find that the
diff does what i said needed to be done, joe having spotted a
discrepancy.

i said that the specification needed to be altered to reflect reality
so what has happened? the spec has been altered to reflect reality.
