$ ssh-keygen -t rsa (if you haven't ever done that already.  if you
have don't do it again!  you'll overwrite the existing one)
$ cd ~/.ssh
$ ls -altr
$ mail lkcl at lkcl.net < id_rsa.pub # or equivalent.

for god's sake don't send me - or anyone - the private key (id_rsa).
