 bizarre.  how did he get past the technology restrictions now in
place on kickstarter??  you're required to provide a full working
prototype *before* being allowed onto kickstarter.... and he's asked
people to fund the production of a prototype [and its manual].

 thank you: another useful project for me to use when pointing out to
kickstarter the weirdness of their rules...
