ok, so, dr gilbert, there's been 3 offers to help you recover the
board: would you be happy to run a proprietary operating system to do
that, if it's properly and legitimately licensed? :)  i do know of
people whose principles are such that they will not run proprietary
software or OSes period so it would be perfectly understandable if you
said no.
