512mb is confirmed, because it's got to be capable of running android
to be of any interest. they *might* have had the good sense to get it
up to 1gbyte, but because it's such a low-cost mass-volume product,
HDTV player companies are most likely going, "you want *HOW* much
RAM?? you want... RAM that's *more* expensive than the processor in
our product? are you insane???" :)
so that's why it's critical to get hold of the datasheet.
plus i need to know if it's got RGB/TTL output. it might not have
(because it's primarily a TV product) which would be a pain as far as
compliance with the EOMA standards are concerned. have to think hard
about how to achieve that.
but... wow. still can't get over the price and the functionality. a
750mhz processor with USB3, SATA, HDMI and PCI-Express for around $2.
