Hi,
I was wondering if you had an answer for this:
Its not very significant but I'm having a strange problem ...
The wireless detects the network, but doesn't connect to it..
The Android OS can send and receive data no problems there.. So I don't
think its the hardware.
I don't have an ethernet port. So i cant test it against something..
I did:
$ iwlist scanning and I got the wifi AP..
$ iwconfig wlan0 essid "MyWifiPoint" key s:MyPassword
returns back silently..
But
$ iwconfig shows that my point was still unconnected..
I have an RTL8188CUS wifi chip. I did some searching and found that the
8192cu driver file will work for this as well... (
http://wiki.debian.org/rtl819x) Am I wrong?
It's an A10MID tablet for which I'm trying to get this done.
Thanks much..
