*sigh* this sort of thing is why booting direct from a suitable linux
kernel with a minimal initrd containing a userspace bootloader that
runs kexec is infinitely preferable to the
pile-of-cowdung-that-calls-itself-uboot.
someone else wanted u-boot console over USB-OTG? you have to patch
u-boot to include yet more parts of linux kernel device drivers,
customised and maintained in sync with the exact same linux kernel
device driver source code.
you want uboot to be SATA-aware? you have to patch u-boot to include
yet more parts of the A10 SATA linux device driver tree, customised
and then maintained in sync with the linux device driver source code
it is indentical to and copied from.
... when are people going to get it into their heads that u-boot is a
dog's dinner that needs to be dropped off at the nearest convenient
warzone and nuked to the bedrock?
