Based on that diagram, it only has 2 power wires going to the dock.  And all 2.5" SATA drives run on 5V.  You would need to do some modding if you require 12v power for a 3.5
" drive.

Can someone list what video display modes are available on the android that ships with the player?  Curious if it supports any interlaced modes or 24p output.
