I'm not sure I agree with your assesment. I have an older version of it
(Android 1.6, single-touch resistive screen) and by and large I've found
it's fine for casual use. Sure, it's not as nice and polished as the
much more expensive slates, but there's a limit on what you can expect
for < £40. And at the price these are selling at, they are pretty damn
good value.
