Yes. So far I do not know of a single A10 based device which do not
allow you to boot to your own operating system.

While the A10 apparenty do have the ARM TrustZone extension it does not
appear to be used by anyone to lock down the hardware. Not even sure it
can..

You need script.bin from the nanda partition.

If you have serial console then control is easy.  One easy way to get
there when having serial console is to connect the USB OTG port to your
computer, and then press 2 in the serial console while powering on (or
rebooting) the device. nanda should then be seen as a disk device from
your computer.

If that fails then you need to get root access, or find a firmware
upgrade which you can extract script.bin from.

script.bin contains the needed details on how the A10 is wired in your
board.
