Well,  I had a similar problem.
The PhoenixCard seems to have a bug and it doesn't handle properly if 
you PC has multiple removable units  (as use to be if it has a multi 
iocard reader for, SD, MMS, CF... etc)
A weird workaround  is from windows Device Manager -> Drive Units   
disable all logical units relating to the removible drives    except the 
SD Card one.
Once your PC has an only removiible driver available the PhoneixCard 
must to work well...
