don't do it.  really.  if someone wants to hold a particular view and wants
to pursue something you should be tolerant enough to let them do it: you
nor anyone else has *any* right to criticise what they want to achieve.
you might wish to point out you believe that their chosen path is
completely nuts, and wish them good luck with it, but that's about the
limit.
