I can only speak for myself, but I have a hunch quite a few of them very 
much did make their own judgement (using the thing between their ears as 
per its natural purpose), and chose to remain silent precisely as a 
consequence. As I should have done, except I don't like to have my own 
(in)actions misrepresented. That is all. By all means, do carry on
