Except for 6 SATA, even the MK802 qualifies. In fact I am currently moving all
my home "server" functions (except for the bulk storage) to an MK802 with USB
Ethernet.
With a requirement of one SATA, a Mele will qualify. Does anyone know if the
A10 supports SATA PMP, by the way? There are some 1-to-X SATA port multiplier
enclosures (expensive, though).

Personally I am unfamiliar with the term "HDA" (other than the acronym is used
for Intel audio), I don't remember seeing it before your message. Do you mean
the plug-like ARM servers? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plug_computer
For some reason those 1) cost quite a lot ($100..150+) 2) sold from countries
like the UK and US, with either no shipping option at all, or with a hefty
shipping fee ($40..50+) to where I am.
So for me it seems like the MK802 and the Meles were the first FOSS-friendly
ARM devices that are not too inexpensive, and also easily orderable.
There are no explicitly server-usage targeted devices based on the A10, and
being more of a multimedia chip maybe it's not the best candidate, but given
the above-mentioned circumstances I think the MK802 and Mele both have one
more niche they can fill :) And you can benefit from all the work that's going
into supporting the A10 from people on this mailing list and on Rhombus-tech.
In fact it seems to me to be the most FOSS-friendly ARM system currently
available. And when using it as a server, you aren't even concerned about
working 2D or 3D or video acceleration, and if there are any blobs required
for that, etc.
