Yes. Support for coreboot was actually provided by AMD. AMD has been
supporting every new processor and family of chipset for the past couple
of years.
There are a few systems now that ship with coreboot from the factory.

There was also a STPC Internet terminal sold in India 5-10 years ago
that sold over one million units with coreboot.
