 yep.

 it's actually a real pity, because it contains a very powerful cell
processor.  and yes i spoke to them and was told "oh yes it's open,
why would you want to program it directly??"

 if it's being sold to china it wouldn't surprise me if it was being
made available to them in order to allow china access to a
supercomputer.  don't believe it?  read this:
