Never tried. Afaik some of the Android kernel interfaces have changed, mainly the USB gadget
part, that's why it's better to use a 3.x kernel with it. And the mali GPU adapter might also
need the newer kernel. I will try building ICS for the old kernel though and hope for the best.

(A source drop for kernel 3.x and android 4.x would be fine though)
