tom has no claim and no personal ownership of this or any other
"ubuntu SD image".
barry - and others: please could i ask you not to use personal
pronouns to indicate ownership of any code, design, thought, idea,
image or anything *other* than physical items which can definitely be
said, except as recognised by those who accept the existence of god
and the concept known as "everything is god's", to be within the
physical space and thus the responsibility of that individual.
putting that more directly, can people please respect the principles
of "egoless programming", by using terms such as "the ubuntu image
that tom created" and avoid as much as practical the use of possessive
pronouns.
i'm just going through yet _another_ nightmare scenario with the
mozilla foundation because there are people on the b2g team who have
not been taught that "criticism of an idea or a thought raised by a
person" != "criticism of the person".
i'd really appreciate this project avoiding those kinds of nightmare
issues, which begin with phrases like "your code", "your image", "your
kernel repository" and end in absolute hell. or worse, losing a good
programmer.
thanks folks.
