Hello lkcl luke,

Me too, and this is a problem WHY I have some problems...
I do it by hand and I am not one of the best or an OVER-GEEK!

> can you give me a rough idea of the power consumption?

Arround 8W, but if you connect two GE Phyter, it starts sucking arround
12 Watt. Which is much more then EOMA/PCMCIA support. However, both
microcontroller I use, have very good PowerManagement and every part on
my future mainboard can be shutdown physicaly to ZERO power consumation.

I have to use 8 pins of the "Mini PCI Card" du to the high power
consumation. I would not say, the Armada 300 and Discovery MV78200 are
Low-Power microcontrollers. However, somone using this two dinos, know
why.

IMHO the Armada/discovery are to much sucking energy for a normal-user
TabletPC.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
