What about using the Maxim <http://www.maxim-ic.com/MAX2829>
Unfortunately I was not able to continue my development, du to my
problems with France (they have confiscated my lab on 2011-06-04)
I am ongoing to use the chip together with a NXP Cortex M0 LPC11U24 as
baseband and code my own 802-11 a/b/g firmware.
Note: The MAX2829 require only Tx/Rx and 3-Wire SPI Interface
Also I have submitted a NEW quote-request for 50k/100k.
Also I use the <http://www.maxim-ic.com/MAX2769> GPS Receiver, but there
is now a better version which support GPS, Galileo and GLONASS.
So, if the EOMA board has enough internal USB connectors (which my own
TabletPC has) and you use the Low-Energy Cortex M0, you are open for
anything which support USB.
Note: I have 4 Mini-PCIe connectors in my TabletPC using a 7port USB Hub
from NXP/STEricsson (unfortunately there ISP1521 is now obsolete)

;-)
What about using a standard PCIe connenctor with USB and then wait a
little bit? I could need someone which like to write the Firmware.

For Germany/EU and Mass-Production ~7000 Euro
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
