it suddenly occurred to me half-way through writing the above that the
combination of the Gallium3D project, the Gallium3D LLVM back-end, the
LLVM FPGA compiler target (MicroBlaze) that was added in llvm 2.7,
actually means that the task of creating a hardware-accelerated fully
free-software 3D GPU is a pile of f*****g piss!  like... "hit compile"
piss-easy.

i must be missing something.  like xilinx don't actually exist, or the
world's ending tomorrow or something.

anyway - the main reason i'm writing is to ask people if they'd like
to get onto gp32x and place some votes on the polls.  they've added
that feature in the past year, and it'd be good to take advantage of
it.
