28nm Dual-Core 800mhz Cortex A9.
wow, things are getting reallly interesting, if xilinx has made an ARM
CPU with a built-in FPGA. the only thing about this CPU is:
absolutely no graphics, whatsoever. none. nada. zip. zilch. it does
however have USB2, 2x Gigabit Ethernet and 2x PCI-e.
this thing f****g rocks!
hey, mr chezphil, how do you like _them_ apples, huh? :)
i am however getting reaaaally fed up with the state of 3D embedded
graphics. you literally cannot for love nor money find a low-power
PCIe 3D GPU. there is _one_ low-power PCIe 2D GPU: the volari X11
(same thing that's in the OpenRD Ultimate) and... well, i don't want
to tell you how much they thought it was worth.
so about the only option left, realistically, to get even _any_ 3D
graphics, would be to either put in a standard PCI-e connector in, or
to use the MXM standard:

SiS do _one_ 3D IC which they consider to be "ultra-low-power"... at 6
watts (65nm), and the MXM III (Type A) standard is TDP 25 whilst the
Type B is 150! are these guys off their fucking rockers or what??
but... yeah. wow. what a weird and exciting combination.
