 yes.  Sandisk.

 ohh... wait.... there may be differences in the setup of the hsmmc
devices, between mer-smartq, 2.6.24-samsung and 2.6.24-chitech.
certainly the mer-smartq guys had to mess about somewhat with the
hsmmc setup (pulling some gpios not others) and whoever did the kernel
for the ctpc89e also i believe did likewise [mess about].

 so it could be something as simple as the card-detect lines are
swapped, or were _disabled_ for the NAND but not SD card.  or
something ugly.
