hi david i generally found them to be very expensive, relatively
speaking, even the lower-entry ones.  eurocircuits on the other hand,
which uses factories in hungary, was extremely competitively priced
for 2-layer PCBs with 12mil clearances.

the advantage of local PCB manufacturing: if you need it now, you need
it now, and you can get it now.
