not trying to start a flame war and i understand you might be under a 
bit of pressure, but...

"consulted on" is not something that happens with linux.
never has, never will.

linus and his 2nd in commands (and russell is one of those i believe) 
get to decide what goes in to the linux kernel.
market share don't mean squat.

so if you want allwinner to play nicely then the onus is on them to 
participate in the linux community.
language is not a barrier, willingness is

the linux arm maintainers have said that devicetree is it. allwinner 
need to understand this and the benefits that acrue.
