Sheepapluggggggg!!!!
100% in for KiCAD 100% GPL'd SATA NAS/SoHo project with EOMA68.
The other bits will have to learn on the fly, but as its 100% open
anyone can roll the ball forward with all the add ons.

Subject: [Arm-netbook] EOMA68 switch / NAS

joe (or anyone else for that matter) - still up for doing open
hardware projects? i've got a requirement for doing a hybrid NAS /
switch product which has the following features:

* gigabit network ports (e.g. 4 of)
* MiniPCIe 3G modem support with *dual* SIM sockets
* plugs in an EOMA68 CPU Card...
* which then turns an otherwise run-of-the-mill switch into a full NAS
/ SoHo server

exactly how the two talk to each other (other than over ethernet) i
haven't worked out yet.

datasheets for realtek stuff is hard to come by: if anyone knows of
any better bits of kit that would do the job please do speak up.

l.
