 done, modprobe sun7i_wemac, enabled debug info, found it's scanning
and finding the RTL8201 at the correct address (seeing "scan the phy
adrr" - somebody can't spell... :) did "ifconfig eth0 up", then "ip
link" aaand... it's UP but "NO-CARRIER":

i'm seeing a pretty random mac address, there was supposed to be...
hmm, i think i asked for the eeprom to be left off, that would explain
that...

clues anyone?

yeees it's plugged into a huuub :)  nooo, i don't know if the wires
are the right way rouuuund... :)
