Birch plywood is available to below 1mm for model aircraft and very
bendy. Ribbing making it even more stronger and lighter.

The real trick is not to buy the birch plywood, but buy the birch
veneers direct from manufacturer, cut with laser, and glue to make own
plywood. Extremely strong, curved designs possible and very elegant
marquetry designs can be added on top and varnished to add value to
product.
