[Arm-netbook] 3.0.8 kernel only detects 512 MB RAM on 1 GB device

Ah, ok, thought you meant u-boot source was overriding the memory detection.

I don't suppose there's a straightforward way to just change the memory size to
1GB then, is there? I'm pretty lousy with C and know nothing about Linux kernel 
development.
