I haven't taken a GuruPlug apart, but I cannot reall see where the extra 
heat would be coming from compared to a SheevaPlug.

Indeed, I have a GuruPlug and it is _noisy_. As in rackmount server 
grade noisy. Only got one for the sake of being able to test my distro 
kernels on it, but I'll stick with other things for the build farm or 
else my computer room would sound like a hornets' nest.
