ok so this is from the A10 datasheet:

Display Output Ability
      Support HDMI V1.3/V1.4
      Flexible LCD interface (CPU / Sync RGB / LVDS) up to 1920*1080 resolution
      CVBS / YPbPr up to 1920*1080 resolution

so, on the RGB/TTL, VGA and TV-out, 1920x1080 is ok: anything beyond
that... tough.  HDMI don't know: this IC's supposed to be able to do
2160p MPEG decode, so if it can't also do that on the monitor itself,
that would be a bit odd... but also understandable: HDMI is
balanced-line pairs so a 2560x1600 display @60fps would be driving
them aaat... mmm.... 8 bits per line so x8... nearly 2ghz!

... i think you might want to bring that output down to 30fps over
that HDMI cable, neh :)
