 yeahh i thought about that - the thing is: what would those pins be used for?

 i did think this one through, but it would be good to go over it
again.  so - seriously: starting at the beginning - what would the
pins be used for?  you might come up with something that i didn't,
which would be good, but it needs going over (please do be patient!)

 i hadn't thought of that one.  .... i would be concerned about users
breaking the card and/or socket, though, by getting things off at an
angle and going "hey this doesn't fit, let's hit it harder".  :)
