What do you expect to see on the LCD? Currently there is no working fbconsole
driver, so you can't see the kernel booting, or get any sort of console
output. The LCD is only turned on by Xorg when it starts, but the image from
http://rhombus-tech.net/allwinner_a10/a10_image/ does not have Xorg installed.
