holy crap.  1080p video *encode*??  that's pretty impressive.

i'm seeing something not listed in the brief specs - a 32-bit wide
external AHB-compliant "Serial Memory Interface".  presumably similar
to the HPI interface seen on some TI and Samsung CPUs (OMAP3530 for
example).

not too shabby at all.

now if only ARM would pull their arses out of their fingers over the
licensing of MALI from MediaTek and release the hardware specs
sufficient to create a Gallium3D-compliant Free Software 3D driver,
we'd be laughing.  in the mean-time, the xf86-video-mali driver and
the proprietary libGLES.so.2 will have to do.
