[Arm-netbook] CT-PC89E - copying alternate .tar.gz over

ok i tried putting an alternative .tar.gz using debian armel, even
though someone on here advised it probably wouldn't work because the
kernel's not been compiled with eabi, and, well, it didn't work :)
i'm not thrilled with the idea of trying to replace the kernel with
something i don't yet have the source for, so ain't gonna try.

also it doesn't help that, well, i think a possible reason why no
fonts appear on-screen is because they haven't been compiled into the
kernel.

anyway: i got a digital oscilloscope, yesterday, which i will try
poking around on the headers of the SODIMM, looking for what might
come out as RS-232 signals.  "TX" should be easy to find - "RX" might
be a bit more challenging / concerning because that means applying
power to the pins (whoops).
