 mrrrmmm... yep.  *sigh*.

 at least though we've found one company willing to evaluate it, for
purposes of evaluating it and selling it in europe.  so, perhaps not
for us but for other people, they'd have the benefits of a mass-import
shipping etc. etc.   and, also, adam's client's having a look at it,
too, along with a 7in netbook (which was where this all sparked off
from).  so that's two possible mass-imports.  and i have a third
possibility, which would be very big.
