hello helen i am top-posting to help preserve your message, i will start up my laptop to approve the membership (spammers) over the next few days.
[i haven't provided details about what happened - i was almost killed by medical negligence that was initiated by DAVID CALDERWOOD, who manipulated members of my family including my brother DANIEL LEIGHTON who then in turn interfered with the process of extracting me from being tortured inside a psychiatric ward, by intimidating people helping me. no, not a joke: there are no euphemisms, untruthful statements or exaggerations in this paragraph.]
leaving that aside.
specific request:
please can everyone *not* contact helen privately, this is and always has been a community project, i have just had my life devastated by NLnet seizing control of the running of Libre-SOC, where it took two weeks to retrospectively establish financial irregularites in their *private* communication with other team members, after they refused to consult me, the person with six years of administrative and financial records knowledge.
it should be obvious we don't want that mistake repeated.
so, for everyone who has contacted helen privately please forward your message again to the list: helen if you have begun speaking technically with them please forward those as well. yes it's a pain, but i guarantee if you're not strict about this you will get very quickly overwhelmed as you effectively de-facto "become" the project leader... ... with zero technical or historical knowledge... deprived of the bitter-experience-learned resources needed to manage any complex project.
if you encounter *any reluctance even silence* please ensure you preserve those conversations - see three paragraphs below. so sorry to have to ask that. anyone and everyone who is on this list should know full well it is a FOSS Project and there should be no hesitation at all to speak freely and enjoy being part of the technical community.
so, helen: if you are contacted privately please immediately and respectfully insist that they forward the message to the list, do *not* engage with them technically in any way (but don't be curt with them about it - best to refer them to this message). once they publish the message, *then* reply... on-list only.
we need people to coordinate - helen you are not (sorry!) technically familiar with this project, and need help and guidance... *and so does everyone else*. the last thing we need is communications errors / failures / assumptions, and there is a perfect way to prevent that: *run as a community FOSS project* - i.e. *public* not *private* communication.
bottom line, you may be given *wrong technical advice* and the only person properly qualified to identify and correct such: me and no other person.
the exceptions i have already outlined previously (e.g. crowdsupply admin, orders admin, addresses etc) *except* a new one: if anyone feels intimidated *in any way* by the threats made by people who have been devastating my life and almost killing me multiple times (not a euphemism), please contact me privately in strict confidence as there is a crime of Perverting the Course of Justice under investigation, and any reluctance to speak freely and publicly without fear is *itself* crucial evidence. (once i have a solicitor i will publish their details in a followup if you are more comfortable with that, you would then be able to speak privately with them)

I am sorry to hear of your ongoing difficulties. You must of course put your health first.
Hello to everyone on arm-netbook@lists.phcomp.co.uk and thank you to those who sent me individual emails. There will be some latency in my replies as I sort through everything. I am awaiting moderator approval to join the mailing list.
Please rest assured that I will do what I can to get these boards to those who still want them. Once we have worked out a few key things I also intend to communicate our plans with people outside of this mailing list, via the campaign mailing list and also the subreddit.
Many of you know more about the history of this project than I do. It predates my tenure at Crowd Supply by some time. I am a hardware person, not a FOSS dev, but I do have a well-equipped electronics bench and a helpful embedded Linux dev spouse.
My goal is to ascertain that the boards I have are functional at a basic level, prepare them for distribution, and get them into the hands of the community. We have around 500 boards.
If there are any original backers on this mailing list who want an unimaged compute card in lieu of the imaged compute card they originally ordered, and hopefully help ascertain the state of the hardware, please log into your Crowd Supply account and open a ticket: https://www.crowdsupply.com/contact/other
You can check on your order status by logging into your Crowd Supply account. Here are some helpful links:

Thanks again for everyone's feedback and help.
Kind regards
Helen Leigh
