http://rhombus-tech.net/icubecorp/IC1T/news/ congratulations to the team at http://ICubeCorp.com for a successful board bring-up, especially given the challenge that it had to be done over the Micro-SD slot of the MicroDesktop base unit rather than over USB-OTG. despite this they successfully got console access over UART and have since sent the boards on to me for further testing. i am really excited to be involved with a completely new processor, and to be able to bring working prototypes to people. l.

(I'm still stuck for time doing my KiCAD version of one, and even if I get time, the newer versions would probably drop the edge connector and aim for a couple of FPC connectors.)

https://phoneblocks.com hmm, your thoughts? mine? well I am concerned that it will be status quo software wise and so not libre. but if they do software freedom then I'm not sure what it would mean for eoma-*. I suppose at least eoma-* has the advantage of getting to market sooner from the looks of things at phoneblocks - doesn’t look like they have anything any time soon and we do need a decent answer now with climate change/heating needing huge action now and all that. Come to think of it I guess eoma-68 will still have it's low cost market?

has been finished and is ready for assembly to first prototypes but due to the contract not being renewed here where i work it cannot be paid for. if there is anyone who would like to help get it into the upcoming crowdfunding campaign the cost is $USD 3,600. l.
