Saturday 15 October is the date to remember for Friday Folk's next dance in St Albans. With Barrie Bullimore calling and Narrow Escape providing the music, it promises to be a highly entertaining evening.
Narrow Escape are experienced players on the dance scene with David Bradley on accordion, Mike Green on mandolin and mandola and Liz Ellison on recorder and concertina. Playing for both the American and English styles, they have a huge repertoire of tunes. They play regularly for dance clubs and have appeared at many festivals including Lichfield, Sidmouth, Eastbourne, Chippenham, Bromyard and Broadstairs.
Barrie Bullimore is a well known caller with a wealth of experience. For this event he will be calling an eclectic mix of English and American dances. Barrie's priority is always to help dancers to enjoy themselves and have fun.
The dance is at The Samuel Ryder Academy, Drakes Drive, St Albans, AL1 5AR from 7:30 to 11:00 pm. Tickets are £8 (£7 if paid in advance). Enquiries to 01727 856508.
