i thought about that - personally i don't feel confident about
putting a baseband (I-Q) processor on-board (plus v. accurate
timers, needed for GSM). if you know someone who has this
kind of experience at the silicon / IC level then please do
say so!<br>

i'm aware that if you use a separate module (like in the
GTA04) things are more pricey... unless someone comes forward
with the experience to recommend what parts are needed (and
soon) i'm inclined to leave on-board base-band for the next
revision.<br>
