I've tried both VGA and HDMI image in
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://dl.linux-sunxi.org/nightly/latest/">http://dl.linux-sunxi.org/nightly/latest/</a> for the Mele A1000, and
both work for me.<br>
For HDMI I use the command:<br>

I've read somebody had troubles with HDMI output, and after changing
the cable it worked.<br>

You should not have to use modprobe hdmi, because the modules are
loaded at boot time in /etc/modules.<br>
